Barak Cold Storage (BCS) is a privately owned company and one of Assam’s largest growing temperature controlled multi purpose storage facility. We specialise in providing storage and a range of bespoke services to our customers. With over 20 years’ experience, we have established a reputation for reliability, efficiency and integrated customer service within the sector.

By managing all aspects of the temperature controlled storage facility, BCS can service virtually any customer need. Our customers benefit from tailor made, integrated packages, supported by a comprehensive information system.

Our capabilities enable us to protect your product from the time it reaches our enclosed loading docks until we deliver it to your customer. In between, we offer a comprehensive array of services tailored to your specific needs including storage, freezing, processing and packaging.

We work with local traders, farmers, food manufacturers, both large and small, and service all segments of the distribution chain including major retailers, food service distributors, and industrial manufacturers through to produce markets, independent supermarkets and exporters. While agricultural food products account for a significant part of the company’s business, BCS has extensive on-going experience in servicing other temperature sensitive products, including fish, pharmaceuticals and medical products.
